Where there is Freedom there is life
Our mission is to offer support, hope, and a fresh start for every woman, girl and child rescued from exploitation.
About us
How it all Began
In the early 2000s, Triveni Acharya and her husband Balkrishna founded Rescue Foundation after witnessing the brutal reality of child trafficking in Mumbai’s red-light areas. They led daring rescue missions and provided holistic care to survivors. After Balkrishna’s tragic death during a rescue, Triveni carried their shared mission forward. Today, under her leadership, Rescue Foundation continues to rescue, rehabilitate, and reintegrate girls with compassion, strength, and an unshakable commitment to justice and dignity.
